Mohawk Princess Pictures is a new player in the Aboriginal film and television production milieu. Launched by one of Canada’s leading Aboriginal talents, Tracey Deer, the company is committed to showcasing vibrant and compelling stories that showcase the complex realities of modern Aboriginal life through documentary and fiction programming.
A compelling portrait of a young Mohawk woman who had her first child at age fifteen, but was able to get an education and now leads a special program in her home community, Kahnawake, near Montreal, mentoring young people looking to build their career skills . As her older colleague says, "She's of that generation called: the one we've been waiting for".
Mohawk Olympian and role-model Waneek Horn-Miller joins forces with Save the Children and appears at their We Day initiative in Toronto. We Day is a day-long celebration of young people leading local and global change. Waneek sets out to share her impassioned message of unity and hope to build a better future for her people.

Profile of a young Aboriginal actress, Rachelle White Wind, who has struggled throughout her life with a confused sense of identity. Adopted into a French Canadian family as a child, she says that she always felt like an outsider. In this short film she tells the story of her reunion with her birth parents, her struggle to find a place for herself in the world, and her success in reclaiming her Aboriginal heritage and sense of pride.
When Bailey discovers her boyfriend is also her cousin, she decides to look off the reserve for love. Misadventures await her as she searches for her “Mr. Right!” in the big city of Montreal.
In this dramatic fiction, Ruby and Garrett, recent graduates and life-long friends, discover in one fateful night that an insidious cycle exists in their Mohawk community because they have been raised to protect “their people”, but not themselves.
